In the telescope part of the total station, in addition to laser EDM, key components of a digital camera such as SD memory card slot, USB connector, color LCD display, optical components for image shooting have been built in by making them compact.

The new R-300DNX Series comprises of 3 reflectorless instruments with a angular accuracy between 2" and 5".

Key features of the R-300DNX Series include:

• Since the R-300DNX is equipped with a 3.1 mega pixels digital camera, it can record the detailed position of land and objects in the survey target area as digital image data,
• Point mark can be composed in the image data to indicate the position of survey target. The survey data such as distance, angle, coordinate and point name can also be composed in the image data,
• In addition to the numeric information of surveyed points, whether there was an error in target position or not can be recorded as historical image data,
• The operation of targeting survey point can be made easier by roughly pointing the telescope to the target while observing the image on the color LCD.
